It's been a while since my last beauty post so I thought I'd share with you a couple of new products I've been trying out and my new lipstick storage solution!
1. Transparent lipstick organiser
Definitely inspired by Muji with its see through, minimalistic design. Perfect if you're looking for storage at a lower price point. I'd previously kept all my lip products in my vanity drawer strewn about looking very cluttered, but I'm so pleased with how presentable they look in this organiser and how quick it now is to find the colour I want! I still have around 30 lipsticks floating around but I think I'll keep my favourites out on this display and swap them periodically as and when these change.
2. False eyelashes #14378
2. False eyelashes #14378
If I've taken the time to wear false eyelashes I want to make a show and dance about them and tend to opt for ones with both volume and length. The #14378 are just that yet are lightweight and feathery on the eyes so you don't have to worry about them feeling uncomfortable or pricking you in the eyeball. Unfortunately these lashes don't come with glue so you'll need to have some to hand already. Speaking of eyelash glue, does anyone have any recommendations? I've been using the mini tubes of glue that come with Eylure lashes but feel quite indifferent about its performance. Sometimes it'll keep my lashes on all day and sometimes not. If you have any suggestions, please do leave me a comment below.
3. Yazine lipcolour in #3
This was not what I was expecting but in a good way! I was under the impression that this was a high sheen lipstick based on the photos on the website, but it's actually a tinted lip balm. I love how moisturising this is and leaves a very glossy finish which almost looks like a layer of lipgloss without the sticky texture. #3 is a coral/peach colour and when applied, definitely gives you that 'your lips but better' look. Great for balancing out a dark smokey eye look as above! If you're wondering, there is no scent to this so go ahead and swap out your Vaseline for something with a hint of colour!
If you're planning to purchase any of the above products, be sure to use my discount code YUENH10 for 10% off your order.
